    I'm kinda happy with it. At least our Filipino authors get the money they deserve. Downside is that most people would opt for the cheaper ones.

    I agree. Though it is just heartbreaking that given the dire economic conditions of the local publishing industry, local publications would really have to be costlier than foreign prints. Which is sad irony, right? I reckon some local authors had to have their books printed abroad so that they'd be a little cheaper once they get "imported" here. tsk... tsk... tsk...
